Profile: Citrus, berry fruits and a hint of dark chocolate

Our Tanzanian single origin is shade-grown by banana palms on the southern slopes of Mt Kilimanjaro.

The Kilimanjaro Region is made up of seven districts. Our coffee comes from several small-holder coffee farmers in the Rombo District. Farms range in size between half an acre and three acres. Farmers grow bananas, avocado, ground beans and - of course - coffee, depending on the season and altitude. 

At altitudes of between 1050-1400 meters above sea level this organically-grown Bourbon Arabica produces a complex cup. You'll notice a sweet citrus, berry fruits and a hint of dark chocolate.
